1. DnDBeyond Settings
- Under “Sources”, check Homebrew Content, Magic: The Gathering Content, and Eberron Content. If you wish to make use of Critical Role Content, let me know in advance.
- Under “Optional Features”, check Optional Class Features and Customize Your Origin.
- Under “Advancement Type”, select Milestone.
- Under “Hit Point Type”, select Fixed.
- Toggle the switches for “Feats”, “Multiclass Requirements”, and “Ignore Coin Weight” to on.
- If you wish to add character abilities from the Strixhaven, Ravnica, or Acquisitions Inc. sourcebooks, please discuss it with me in advance.
2. Crafting
- You can craft items and harvest resources using the rules described in Kibbles’ Crafting Guide.
3. Resting
- To get the benefits of a short rest, you must rest for eight hours overnight.
- To get the benefits of a long rest, you need to rest for a full 24 hours in a safe environment. You cannot use this time for combat, but you can use it for downtime activities (e.g. crafting).
- In addition, you can take a 10-minute “breather”. This type of short rest does not cause you to regain any resources; however, you can use it to roll any of your remaining hit dice.
4. Skills
- “History” is replaced with a new skill, “Current Events”.
- “Religion” is replaced with a new skill, “Religion & History”.
- “Nature” can be used for any skill check relating to scientific knowledge.
- “Survival” can be used for tracking in both an urban and a natural environment.
5. Inspiration
